SheDay is the rhythmic identity of Shideh Almasi —a NYC based DJ born in Detroit and raised in a Persian family, shaped by the city's techno roots and the melodies of her Middle Eastern heritage. Her sets move between groovy tech house, indie dance funk, and global electronic sounds, always infused with her signature sense of joy and whimsy. She's closed for Henry Fong on NYE at Garden of Eden, played the Support Women DJ’s Halloween party at Mood Ring, and recently turned heads with a Persian House set at Purgatory. When she’s not behind the decks, find her in front of them shuffling, making friends, and shamelessly Shazam’ing tracks.
